A little too hot but still planted a lot

If the temps had been a little cooler, I think I would have found more energy to do more but I still did quite a bit.

First, I know I have posted many pictures of my pansies but I just can’t believe how they have been growing.

I brought outside the orange, avocado, and lemon trees and the lemon tree got a new pot.  I also planted a pot with marigolds and another with impatiens.  I have plans to plant more impatiens around the yard.  I had one eggplant that seemed to suddenly grow after we planted my dad’s garden so I put that in a pot to see what it does.  The collard greens are looking gorgeous and are about ready to be harvested.  I need to get more growing.  Here are some pictures of the front yard.

I brought these plants outside from being inside all winter:  aloe, mini rosebush, schefflera, rosemary, and lettuce.

Behind the tulips are my lemon, orange, and avocado trees.  The eggplant is in the dark green pot in the front.  Three of the pots next do the eggplant are collard greens, the other is thyme and sage.

At the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, there was a woman selling plants and she seemed to specialize in peppers and tomatoes because she had so many unique varieties.  I planted 6 topsy turveys and three hot pepper plants in pot.

In the topsy turveys I planted:

  • Oregon Spring Tomato plant (I grew from seed)
  • Roma Tomato plant (I grew from seed)
  • Wisconsin 55 Tomato plant
  • Plum Lemon Tomato plant
  • Sweet Chocolate Pepper plant
  • Serrano Pepper plant

In this pot I planted:

  • Beaver Dam Pepper
  • Black Hungarian Pepper
  • Cayenne Pepper

My annual herbs in pots in my sunroom were looking pretty sad, so I cleaned them up, replanted them, and put them outside on my new plant stand.

The red pot on the right is lettuce.  The other red pot is basil.  In the black pots I planted, chamomile, cumin, parsley, cilantro, and more basil.

I was at my parent’s house yesterday and the raddishes, carrots and beans we planted have all sprouted.  I didn’t have my camera with so don’t have pictures but I will post when I get some.
