CSA

I just signed up for a CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture) with LOFOTL in Elkhorn.  Starting in early June we will receive a full share bi-weekly into November.  I am so excited to see what recipes I come up with to enjoy veggies I have never heard of (and many that I have heard of).

So this means, I am not going to try to grow anything at my house except for collard greens and maybe some basil or kale.

The question is, what do I grow at my parents house to supplement my CSA share.  The guy at the Winter Farmers' Market from LOFOTL suggested maybe tomatoes and herbs.  He told me to avoid zucchini or summer squash as I will get plenty.
