Dreaming of the Garden

With the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays behind us, the seed catalogs have begun to arrive.  On New Year's Day, we visited The Domes with my parents.  We have a membership and I always enjoy the plants.  One of the plants that stood out was this beautiful jade plant that was blooming.  It made me want to give a jade plant a try again.

The second plant that stood out was living rocks (lithops).  They are disguised as they look like any of the other small rocks they live with.

So I had to do some planting of my own and headed over to Stein.  Here is the end result:

At the grocery store I also picked up some basil that grows in water.  I love adding fresh basil to food.
